Education and Outreach
In addition to patient care and research, the Lupus Center of Excellence strives to raise awareness about lupus and serve as a source of information about the disease. Some of the means by which information is available include:
Blue Jeans for Lupus
Each spring, the Lupus Center of Excellence works with corporations to raise lupus awareness and research funding through the Blue Jeans for Lupus campaign, which usually coincides with the national World Lupus Day recognition in May.
